| STANFORD Every Friday from 7-10 PM Come to the New Guinea Sculpture Garden to drum, dance, and sing. This is a beautiful, sacred place very conducive to good vibes. The circle meets during the warm months, usually May through October. Everyone is welcome. Please pass this invitation on to other drummers and dancers. Sundays 2- 7 pm Huntington Beach, Ca., on the north side of the Huntington Beach Pier, on the concrete steps. Averages 10-20 players. Notes: This is an open to the public drum jam (Most attendees sit on large steps vs a circle..) and includes afro-cuban and african inspired rhythms. Ongoing for many years, expect a wide range of interesting and unique guests, instruments and onlookers - it can rock and is worth going to! Usually goes till Sunset. |
